Gas & Electric Utilities
The City of Sabula provides Gas and Electric service to the community. Please contact City Hall for assistance in obtaining these services for your home. 563/687-2420.
If you smell gas in or around your home, please leave your home and call City Hall if it is during our working hours of Monday - Friday 7:00 AM - Noon and 1:00 PM - 4:00 PM. If it is after hours, or on a weekend, please call 911.

For an Electrical Outage, please call City Hall. 563/687-2420. After hours, holidays or weekends, please call the action desk for Alliant Energy 800/246-3750 for 24/7 dispatching. *If the outage is City wide, it is an Alliant issue. If it's a few homes with an outage, it would be a City issue. Please call Jackson County Non-Emergency 563/652-2468 to have the City dispatched.

Do I need to pay a deposit for utilities?
Yes, unless you previously had utilities in your name and the account was not delinquent. You may be exempt from a deposit.
